The oil casing is a steel tube used to support the walls of oil and gas wells to ensure the normal operation of the well during drilling and after completion. Several sets of casing are used for each well, depending on the drilling depth and geology conditions. The casing can be divided into conduit casing, surface casing, technical casing and oil-string casing. Unlike tubing and drill pipes, the casing can not be reused. It is a disposable material and needs to be cemented after well running. As a result, casing consumption accounts for more than 70% of all OIL wellbore tubing, in this process, knowing the theoretical weight of oil casing is necessary for the engineer.
