AISI/ASTM/SAE 9260 steel is a type of Si-Mn steel mainly used for spring application. Its density is 7.85 g/cm³, the 9260 steel bar offers good strength, elasticity and hardenability, suitable for the production of steel plate spring or 30 mm outside diameter below the spiral spring under high load, also suitable for making working temperature below 250 ℃ hot spring in the corrosive medium and large coiling spring and damping system, etc.
