Grade 430F is a Martensitic stainless steel grade based on 430 with increased sulfur stainless steel used for free-machining applications. The steel has good machinability and small friction coefficient due to the sulfur and has been mainly used in automatic lathe, electronic components and various pump valve compressor parts such as gears, fasteners, solenoids, valves, surgical equipment, pins, hinges within various industries.
