Low Cr-Mo alloy material 10CrMo9-10 has good intercrystalline corrosion resistance and cold working stamping performance, it has strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing acid (such as nitric acid), especially to alkali solution and most organic and inorganic acids.
The 10CrMo9-10 seamless steel tubes are specified in BS-EN10216-2 used for high temperature and high-pressure purpose, which are mainly used in pressure vessels and pipelines, such as power station boilers and steam boilers. The number 10 represents the average content of C, and the maximum temperature of 10CRMO9-10 can up to 580℃. Grade 10CrMo9-10 tube is also specified in the standard DIN17175, 1.7380 is the EN numeric designation for this material.
